Our group had a guided tour through the Louvre.
It's great to have commentary from someone who knows the museum well.
I saw that you can borrow a personal audio set also.
Fabulous museum with famous works from many great artists and sculptures including "venus de milo" and the "mona lisa", just to name a few.
We really enjoyed the Egyptian section.
You would need several days to even get a glimpse of everything, so grab a map at the start and pick the sections you would most like to see first

This place is stunning, huge and overwhelming. We don’t know a lot about art, but interested to learn. It’s hard to do on your own. The Nintendo “audio guide” was next to useless - the navigation feature was super clunky (bordering on un-useable) and there were very few pieces of art with recorded commentary. The guided tours may be a better option, but sold out in our language on days we wanted to go. I would be interested to come back and try to learn more, but only with a private guide or very small group private tour.

Housing approxinamtely 38,000 pieces from ancient civilizations to modern times, the vast museum is currently regarded as the largest art museum in the world. It is also currently the most visited globally, recording almost 10 million visitors in 2019 alone.
We have spent 2 days going around it and still was not able to see it all. See the Mona Lisa (it’s small!), Venus de Milo, and many other pieces from Greece, Italy, Egypt, Northern Europe, and France.
Klook offers Louvre tickets and you may choose to add a guided tour or an audio guide to it to have a much better appreciation of the pieces inside.
