What a beautiful place to visit. Less than 1 hour from Paris center you can feel a bit of French history. You definitely need the whole day to visit it all!
Definitely worth the visit to Versailles! Room after room of art work, interesting furniture and objets d’art. Be prepared for a lot of walking. One of our party was using a cane and we were frequently helped out by a staff member with a smiling face offering an elevator. Everyone agreed it was a great day and enjoyed it very much, however, Ladies, be aware of long waits for the toilets.
Beautiful experience. I had such a wonderful time seeing everything the palace had to offer. The best part for me was the Hall of Mirrors and standing at the top of the stairs looking out at the Grand Canal. The shops are beautiful and priced reasonably. The staff are also super friendly and with their help it is easy to get around.
