Louvre Museum is the place that everyone wants to visit in Paris, and a long line in few places in the museum. Plan well will save you some time. (1). Buy tickets online (book 9:00 am) as soon as you arrive to Paris if you do not want to buy them at home in case your trip will cancel for any reason. (2). Take Metro to Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre station (one day metro pass is the same price as a round trip ticket), walking through a mall to the back entrance, less people than front entrance. (3). Go to see Mona Lisa first because there is always a line in front of Mona Lisa. (4). Take a coffee break in the museum, where is the access to the balcony. You can go to this large balcony rest and to have a great view of front door of the museum. (5). Museum Café is outside the museum near the door. Food was good. You can use the same ticket re-enter the museum if you want to see more in the afternoon.
During the day the courtyard is a zoo of people, but after the museum closes it is a delight to walk around. You can get great photos without strangers in the way, and the western light is lovely on the building and pyramid.
Prebook ticket is must! Prepare yourself for the long walk. You should decide and plan in advance what you wish to see. it is an Extremely big museum but has lot of resting place and coffee even food serving places. It is mandatory to visit.
