Unless you are versed in art, I suggest you have a guide to tour this amazing museum. Honestly, I could have spent a week absorbing all of the contents. The museum is divided into regions and time periods; a lot of historical data on ownership o the pieces within and painters displayed; without the guide I would have been lost and truly not have appreciated all of the art within.
I also took use of the complimentary cell phone charging station as my phone and backup battery was depleted from trying to capture as much imagery as possible.
Extremely impressed with the inside and outside of the museum.

This place is absolutely incredible! It was so exciting to see famous paintings come alive that I grew up reading and learning about in art class. Definitely worth a visit especially for all the art lovers out there!

We had a great time visiting the Musee de Louvre in March 2022. No masks were required and no vaccine pass was required. We bought tickets online and the line to enter only took about 15 minutes to get through. There are free lockers to store your coat or whatever else you want to store during your visit.
