For first time, it was perfect for us to take a smaller guided tour. I think there were 6 of us. We did see the Mona Lisa and that was in itself great !but I really hate it when tourists are so obnoxious with their phones and selfie sticks (and yes they weren't supposed to have them) it was quite the spectacle. (not in a good way) but still glad to have been up close to it for all of 2 sec. But grateful to see nonetheless. We were there on a Sunday and it was very busy. Next time? I'd go earlier and during the week probably.

So the entrance was free for those who has EU student visa. You just need to show your passport and visa in it at the entrance. I thought I would need ISIC student card, but they just asked for the visa. There’s no time limit, and if you don’t have visa you would be charged 15€. You better come in early morning, so you could take a longer look on Mona Lisa. After 11 AM there’s already huge queue (can be seen from picture). We came at 9AM and waited for 2 min. There is also a lot of small shops and a cafeteria. Amazing place ☺️

When in Paris you must visit this place .
Cost of admission was 15 euros but if you time it right you might get in free on a Sunday .
Time - you need to allow a day at least to view the contents.
Mona Lisa - you after queue if you want to get a face on view but it's all managed so it's pretty quick
If you go on a Monday it isn't as busy as the weekend so would advise you go then
