This is an amazing museum. It will take several visits to see it all. I would recommend getting the audio guide to help you understand the various artwork. In general it can get very busy and crowded. Currently they have extended hours on Friday until 9pm. We had visited initially at 1030am mid-week and there were alot of visitors. We returned on Friday at 530pm and stayed until closing time. The evening visit was so much better. There were less visitors We were able to see the Venus de milo statue as well as multiple famous artwork without so many people crowding around the pieces. Take your time and enjoy the museum

The museum is absolutely amazing (as always), but don’t bother getting the audioguides. They are so over-complicated, we gave them back after 15 minutes.
Lack of toilets, pee before you go in.

Exploring the Louvre was an eye-opening experience, and the entry ticket added to the convenience. A unique journey through time
