the buildings themselves are amazing and some of the rooms elaborate beyond compare. It is a large site with a lot of steps with a few small lifts. The Mona l is nest seen as early as possible as the queues can be long.
D J Bryan D J Bryan South Yorkshire, UK116 contributions A must see when in Paris Feb 2020 I visited the Louvre while staying in Paris with my wife and two young children there is always a huge queue outside the museum if you don't have tickets. So if you want to avoid disappointment buy your tickets online and pick a time slot when the museum is less busy this way entry into the museum is a lot quicker and less stressful. Tickets cost around £17 each for adults which in my view is a bargain when you realise what's inside. It's worth noting the museum is huge with lots of long corridors and steep marble staircases so wear the correct footwear otherwise you will either be crippled or very sore by the end of the visit. The museum is amazing with many different historical exhibits and art masterpieces spanning right across history. If you visit Paris then you must not leave until you have visited the Louvre I guarantee its an experience you will not regret.
It’s so interesting , and huge , I spend the all day in it ,I like each and every section , with it story and history, I highly recommend to visit it when staying in Paris don’t miss it .
