It is a great experience, great museum with excellent art pieces, 100% recomended, it is very big. wow
I've expected more. I was really looking forward to visiting this place but finally im little dissapointed. I didn't get the impression that im facing the high cultre/art. Maybe cause im not a museum type person. Crowds and endless corridors. Nice to experience that but nothing extraoridinary.
One of the only good places you can go in France, as everything else is severley over rated and generally dirty. I would however thoroughly recommend the Louvre as it is a great experience and keeps you occupied for hours. You will have to deal with some truly horrible people whilst there but it's best to ignore them. I would not recommend for younger members of the family (<10) however as they quickly tire on the long walk and generally lose interest.
