Definitely a must. We did a tour with tours by locals and totally worth it. Plan on spending half a day minimum!! The Mona lisa has a very Long line to see so I skipped the line. You can still see it just not right in front of it Our guide was super knowledgeable and after the tour we stayed and saw other things she did not show us
The Louvre has so many things to see that it would be difficult to get through it all in one day. We chose the sections we wanted to see and went from there. Viewing of the Mona Lisa and French art were the most crowded on the day we went. We were hoping to see the famous Napoleon apartment, but it was being refurbished so we were not able to go into that section.
The Louvre is a must see when visiting Paris.
